1. Check the pipes, pipe fittings and pipe accessories before connecting the pipes, according to the design requirements, and inspect the appearance and quality before construction, and use them only if they meet the requirements of the standard.

2. General pipes, pipe fittings and pipe accessories are connected by hot melt or mechanically. When the nominal outer diameter of the pipe is greater than or equal to 110mm, manual hot melt socket connection cannot be used, and threaded connection cannot be used for polyethylene pipes and pipe fittings.

3. If polyethylene pipes belong to different SDR pressure grade series, they cannot be connected by hot-melt butt joints. When connecting pipes with metal pipes or metal pipe accessories, flanges or steel-plastic transition joints should be used for connection.

4. Special connection tools should be used when connecting pipelines, and it is strictly forbidden to heat the pipelines with open flames.

5. The pipes and pipe connections should be of the same grade and the same pressure grade. When pipes and pipes of different grades are connected, they should be tested first, and the connection can be made after the quality can be guaranteed.

6. When using steel sprayed plastic or ductile iron transition pipe fittings, the pressure grade of the transition pipe fittings cannot be lower than the nominal pressure of the pipe.

7. When performing hot-melt connection operation, if it is in a cold climate or a strong wind, protective measures should be taken.

8. Special cutting tools should be used for pipe cutting, and the cutting section should be flat, smooth, free of burrs, and perpendicular to the pipe axis. After the pipeline is connected, the appearance quality of the joint should be checked in time. If the inspection fails, it must be reworked until it is qualified.

PE pipe is a non-polar thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity. The appearance of the original HDPE is milky white, and the thin section is translucent to a certain extent. PE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals.
